What natural things can help fix your hair instead of buying expensive salon shampoos?

my hair is kind of dry and it is not easy to make it do what i want it to do, i need some natural ingredients to put in my hair so that i could look like hair from the comercials from ';Loreal';

what do i need to do?!What natural things can help fix your hair instead of buying expensive salon shampoos?
The mayo and olive oil answers are good. Why natural? Just because something is not ';natural'; doesn't make it unhealthy. Most of the time, I would say ';you get what you pay for';, meaning that I have found the salon brands are superior to the cheaper ones. That is true in general. However, I have found one cheaper one that is wonderful. Dove shampoo and conditioner makes your hair so soft. The Loreal nutrivive and hydravive (I think that's the name) are also good. It also helps if you get a cheap shower cap and put it on your head after you put the conditioner on and leave it a few minutes while you finish your shower. Also, after I rinse out the conditioner, I take a little bit of the conditioner and rub it through my hair like a leave-in conditioner. Just don't use too much or it will look greasy.What natural things can help fix your hair instead of buying expensive salon shampoos?
you can apply a small amount of mayonnaise to your hair- leave it in and sit in the sun for 30 minutes and rinse with cool water thoroughly then wash out with a gentle shampoo that has been diluted - 1 teaspoon to 1/2 cup water

or whip one egg white until it is frothy and apply to hair for 15 minutes and rinse out with cool water and then wash with a gentle shampoo that has been diluted one teaspoon to 1/2 cup water
