If i go to a hair salon?

okay well i think i am going to go get it dyed again. well i dyed my hair using a box and got a brownish reddish color and i hate being called a ';redhead'; all of the time even though i have natural blonde hair.


can they dye it a dark brown with no red in it whatsoever and no red tint after it fades?If i go to a hair salon?
Yes, if you tell them that you don't want any red tint in your hair they will probably strip the color off which will bring up to a bright yellow and then they will re-dye it with a brown hair color with a neutral base. The product you used probably had a warm base which is what gave you red tones, but consider yourself lucky you didn't get pink. Now that your hair already has some red in it they will not have to put any in. They can just put some brown over the color you already have. Any time you have dark brown hair there will always be some red, that's just the way it is. It won't fade to be red, just a lighter brown then what you started with.
