depending on how applications they will have to do to your hair it being so dark I would say anywhere from $40-65...that is a rough estimate though...you should call a couple of salon and ask their opinion.....hope this helped you in some kind of way....How much would it cost to take black short hair to blonde at a beauty school salon?
Prices can really vary alot depending on the school. Where I went to beauty school, it would have cost about $30-40 to go from black to blond. Beware though, it will involve using pretty strong chemicals and will have to stay on a while and will damage your hair pretty bad. Make sure that it is what you want before you have it done. I have seen some people have it done and it turn out beautiful but others end up with very severally damaged hair that was just awful looking.
It will probably cost you one head of hair.
Going from dyed black to blond is amazingly difficult, and quite honestly, I would NOT trust students to do it. That's a huge, huge gamble, even professionals have messed up bleaching my hair before (which is why I do it myself now, then I only have myself to blame). Honestly it might be near-impossible to go blond blond if you've been dying your hair black for a long time, a better option might be trying a dye lifting agent(they have them)/color removal, then lightening your hair from your NATURAL color.
I don't think you know what you are in for. Black hair is hard, hard, hard to lighten, especially if you want it ALL lightened. It's not something you want a student to learn how to do on your head.

Also, the upkeep will be EXTREME - at least every 2-3 weeks unless you want to look like a skunk in reverse! =)

If you are set on blonde - go for some blonde highlights. Or better yet - red highlights. Looks gorgeous on black hair.
