what kind of questions will they ask? do's and donts, etc.

You will probably be asked some of the following questions


1. Tell me about yourself. (Be brief. Don't run on and on. Give a few facts about yourself.)


2. Why are you interested in this type of work? (Give honest answer.)


3. What type of training have you had? ( Tell where you received your training. Include any special techniques you have learned.)


4. What do you do in your spare time? (List a couple of hobbies.)


5. What are your strengths, weaknesses? ( Tell what your strengths are. Everyone has a weakness. Perhaps it is that you are a perfectionist or that you get impatient. Tell them what your weakness is and assure them that the weakness will not pose a problem. You might even be able to find a way to ';spin'; the weakness into a strength.)


6. Why should we hire you? (Tell them what you can bring to the table. You should be able to point out how you can help bring in business.)I have an interview at a hair salon tomorrow?

THey will ask how long you've been in the biz, what your strengths are, if you plan on being specialized in either coloring or cutting.


Definately make sure you look stylish and make sure you have a great attitude.


THey might have you do a model or showcase your talents. My best advice is to BE CONFIDENT.
They will probably want to know if you have any experience and skills. They will be looking for personality and if you are trustworthy. Don't try to BS. Be sure that you mention any training or experience you have.
bring a photo of hair that you have styled before! it'll impress them! and make sure your own hair looks stunning( i'm sure it does already) but if the hairdressers hair doesnt look good the customers would find it harder to trust them! and dont tell them any stories of hair thats gone wrong!use your common sense on what to tell them. be very polite and good luck!!
