To clarify, if you were to walk into a salon to get hair, nails, etc. and saw cookies for sale on the counter, would you consider buying them? (the counter, by the way, doesn't have hair or nail products on it)
I'm trying to save up a little money and my speciality is making cookies. My mom owns a salon and I thought about putting bags of cookies for sale in a basket in her salon, but I don't know if anyone would want to buy cookies in a salon? Please give me your input.
Thanks in advance.(POLL) Would you buy cookies that you see in your hair %26amp; nail salon?
Well, I wouldn't jump in and say ';no.';
A hair salon I go to, has a glass jar full of lollies with a lid on top. And they offer them to the little kids (for free) who get their hair cut.
Or even the adults wish to have one.
I think it would be okay, if they're wrapped up tightly and the packaging looks neat (it does matter).
You want it tight so that no nasty fumes will encounter with the cookies. Even hair.
Though if they were just sitting on a plate not wrapped up or anything, no thanks.
Its all about Occupational Health and Safety and Food regulations.
If the cookies were like i said (wrapped up and all), I'd buy them...if they had white chocolate drops in them ;)(POLL) Would you buy cookies that you see in your hair %26amp; nail salon?
maybe. sitting there waiting for them to be ready for me, you have free time anyway so hey-might as well buy some cookies! and if you're just hungry lol. so yea, i'd go for it!
salon's usually give customers tea or coffee, so why not try selling cookies?
no because you don't know who made them. If they were professionally packaged then maybe
if i went to a nail or hair salon, no i would not buy the cookies unless i was REALLY hungry
I don't think I would, but you'll never know unless you try. Business could be great or it could be crap. Try it out for a week.
GOOD LUCK!!!!
hmmm.... you could try. There's almost always one mom who has to bring her kids with her to the salon. Maybe a mom would buy a cookie for the kids. Try it if they sell then stick with it if they don't then move on think up a new product maybe you could put together little gift baskets with hair and nail stuff in them and sell them. But go for whatever sells. Good luck!
Well you could try but I wouldn't buy them.. I suppose it would be a good idea for people with younger children to keep them occupied, but if you want to earn some extra cash why don't you ask your mom if you could help her in the salon? obviously not with the customers but you could clean up afterwards or something like that..
good luck!
No, the chemicals used in a nail and hair salon smell nasty. I wouldn't by anything to eat from there! Sorry, but hair and food just don't mix.
I'd consider if they looked really yummy, maybe if you have your mom say they were homemade buy her daughter, mention how good they are and everything, people might be interested : )
maybe. u could sell them by the counter or say that ex. 10% go to cancer or something so u would be making a profit and they would help people. also u have to make sure they were packaged tightly enough and make them appealing. Kids get hungry and sometimes their moms will reward them if they are good or mayb theyll but one for later. ull never no till u try so id give it a try!
maby
No. A: I would think about the chemicals being absorbed into the cookies and B: I just got my nails done and do not want to mess them up by digging into a bag or messing with saran wrap.
I bet if I was hungry I would. You could always try it! You have nothing to lose, for all you know you could sell them all!
probably not just cuz i buy my hair products there. lol but thats me Women have children that get bored and stuff so having cookies there would help!
